In creating this first post, I began thinking of all of the firsts we experience in our lives: our first steps, first day of school, first friendship, first kiss, first partner, first car, first job, first apartment, first loss, first heartbreak, and so on. Firsts come with so many mixed emotions from joy to uncertainty.
In my first blog post I am feeling excited and hopeful to reach an audience who is looking for tools to improve their wellness as well as motivation to make forward movement in their lives. I am also hoping to reduce the stigma attached to engaging in therapy. Therapy is useful for everyone and anyone. You don't need to have a diagnosis, or significant trauma to benefit from talk therapy.
